How do you take 3 flights and 2 layovers with a 1.4 year old? One step at a time my friend. Here's how cheap mom's fly from Guatemala to Colombia - Guate - San Salvador - Bogota - Medellin with their kids It took over 12 hours in total with the extra time in Guate and the car ride from Medellin and the 40 minute delay in Bogota that last two hours are always really hard. But we made it in two full pieces and Luna learned about the fun and danger of escalators. Music: Alto Songs (Son Montuno) from www.epidemicsound.com

How do organic farming, poverty and volcanoes connect? Nestled high in the mountains of Guatemala is the spectacular city of Antigua. Overflowing with luscious flora, ancient 15th century Spanish architecture and - oh yeah – three deadly and active volcanoes. These volcanoes are key characters in the rich and troubled history of this beautiful but economically turbulent region - specifically the farming community. To learn more about how the locals combat this unique obstacle, we went to the smoking brink of Volcano Pacaya to witness the immense power for ourselves. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Health Workers in Haiti: A Day in the Life" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR2l338Kd7o -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-

London City Airport's getting a new control tower: but it's just going to be a large mast with 14 high-definition cameras on it. The actual tower will be 80 miles away, in the headquarters of NATS near Swanwick. It feels questionable: but is it? Thanks to all the team at NATS: you can find out more about the new tower here: https://www.nats.aero/services/airports/digital-remote-towers/ Edited by Michelle Martin, @mrsmmartin London camera by Matt Gray, http://mattg.co.uk I'm at http://tomscott.com on Twitter at http://twitter.com/tomscott on Facebook at http://facebook.com/tomscott and on Snapchat and Instagram as tomscottgo

How much does it really cost to move to Guatemala?" Well, I live in Antigua, which is not the cheapest place in Central America and I'm Canadian so not making those greenbacks. But, here's how I did it and the breakdown from what I see. If you have questions, please leave them below. I love helping people get out of the Western world trap. Also, here's a website that sort of helps (take with grain of salt): https://www.expatistan.com/cost-of-living
Some footage of a really difficult journey between Guatemala City and Pereira, Colombia. We flew via San Salvador and Bogota airports. It was a pretty terrible journey with lots of confusion. We finished in the Movich Hotel in Pereira, Colombia. Music : Everything's Nice by Jingle Punks
