London City Airport's getting a new control tower: but it's just going to be a large mast with 14 high-definition cameras on it. The actual tower will be 80 miles away, in the headquarters of NATS near Swanwick. It feels questionable: but is it? Thanks to all the team at NATS: you can find out more about the new tower here: https://www.nats.aero/services/airports/digital-remote-towers/ Edited by Michelle Martin, @mrsmmartin London camera by Matt Gray, http://mattg.co.uk I'm at http://tomscott.com on Twitter at http://twitter.com/tomscott on Facebook at http://facebook.com/tomscott and on Snapchat and Instagram as tomscottgo

Guatemala City crime and safety tips as experienced by a traveler. I was a bit scared before arriving in Guatemala City due to the amount of online reviews discussing crime & safety in the city. However, the week of exploring the city day and night passed without any incident. I spent most of the time in Zona 1 and Zona 4 but I walked the entire Ruta Historica (Zona 2 to Zona 10) and visited many areas in the city. Armed policemen and private security guards are present everywhere in the city and, at least during the day, I never felt afraid. Wandering around at night in Guatemala City is not recommended in most areas except Zona 10. Authorities reported decreasing activity in two Latin American volcanoes after major blasts of rock and ash triggered evacuations and flight suspensions in the region. The concentration of ash and sand, coupled with strong rains brought about by tropical storm Agatha, caused the destruction of some 800 homes. Guatemala City's international airport is expected to remain closed for the next few days as the clean up operations continues.
One person is dead and 3 children are missing after a volcano eruption in Guatemala. Volcano Pacaya started spewing lava and rocks on Thursday afternoon, covering the Guatemalan capital with ash. 1,600 people have been evacuated from the area. The city's international airport has been shut down and the Guatemalan president has declared a state of emergency.

I finally decided to travel to Central America, again. This time i'm planning to go to Guatemala, Belize, Mexico and Costa Rica. This is my first "real" vlog while traveling. More on the way - and of cause with cinematic gimbal looks. While traveling with backpack from airports to airports I did't felt that I wanted to carry my Crane 2. Planning to learn Spanish and working a side on my website: www.williamstravellife.com (offline) - Creating Luts and Presets for lightroom. Also shooting a lot of photos and videos on my Instagram story etc. https://www.instagram.com/williamstravellife/
